We are a local North Carolina branch of a very well-known – internationally and nationally – USA-based and registered (DC & NY) non-profit organization called the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA). This non-profit organization’s rich history dates back to 1940 and we are now a proud Charlotte member of UCCA.
Our mission is to support the Ukrainian-American community and its desire to aid the people of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022, UCCA in Charlotte coordinates volunteers and fundraising efforts to support Ukraine and its people.
About Our Parent Organization - UCCA
The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) is a non-profit, non-partisan community-based organization that has represented the interests of Ukrainians in the United States since 1940.
Since the beginning of the Russian war on Ukraine in 2014, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, the largest umbrella organization representing the interests of nearly 2 million Ukrainian Americans, has been providing direct aid delivered to Ukraine.

How We Help
We are immensely thankful to the US and other governments that help Ukraine with heavy weaponry and financial aid in its fight for freedom and restoration of basic international order and laws in Europe and the world. Larger, government-sponsored aid, although absolutely vital, often takes months to have an impact on the ground. But in such a crisis, Ukrainian soldiers and civilians-turned-warriors also desperately lack basic tactical gear, hospitals may not have enough medical supplies with high demand and broken supply lines, and children require the most basic assistance such as food and shelter today. With the help of our donors and a network of trusted volunteers across the US, Ukraine, and its neighboring countries, we can provide targeted assistance in those basic areas within just a few days.
